This lead me to find on flow swimming websites some great techniques that Fred Busquet uses that you can use too. It is called the Meat Hook Technique.
The Meat Hook Technique is geared towards sprinters. It says not to extend your hand as it enters the water rather than go right into your catch. As a triathlete, you DO want to enter your hand out in front as it enters the water and "plane". This helps keeps your hips and legs up closer to the surface of the water.
The point I do want you to take away from the Meat Hook Technique is the idea of catching the water. The first thing you do when you want to catch the water is to point your middle finger down towards the bottom of the pool. If you wantch the swimmer and the coach in the video talking about the catch, you notice they flip the wrist down. Catching the water is also know as Early Vertical Forearm. When you are able to catch the water, Coley says it as if the water is frozen while your torso moves over that area.
