Excel Aquatics offers 4 levels of adult swimming.
Since swimming is VERY Technique oriented, we usually recommend athletes to start at the bottom and work their way up.
The best time to start working on your stroke is late fall, early winter.
Level 1 - Freestyle 101. This level is for those who learned freestyle more than 10 years ago, or not at all. Techniques have changed and they are much more efficient . We recommend most of our new athletes take this class to learn how to breathe properly and get used to swimming in a group. In the class we really focus on head position, body position and reducing your drag through the water. Level I really We have a wide range of swimmers in Level I from beginner to Ironman finishers who want to perfect their technique.
In this class we teach you to be the most efficient swimmer you can be.
There are 9 classes in Level I. Level I last an entire month. The more you come to practice the more you get out of the class. We recommend trying to be at every practice since each practice is based upon the last one.
Cost for Level 1 Class is $175
We highly recommend taking Level II after Level I.
Class size is limited in both Level I and Level II.

In these Levels you prepare for triathlons and open water swimming competition.
